The Bryant University women’s basketball team faces the first-place Great Danes of UAlbany in a road matchup on Wednesday night.

THE SERIESThe Bulldogs are 1-1 all-time against the Great Danes. The Black and Gold fell to UAlbany last season on the road 60-34. Fortuny led the Dawgs with 12 points.

SCOUTING THE GREAT DANESThe Great Danes head into Wednesday’s matchup with a 10-8 record and a 4-0 record in conference play. UAlbany has three scorers that are averaging 10+ ppg. Kayla Cooper (11.6 ppg), Helene Haegerstrand (13.3 ppg), and Ellen Hahne with 14.1 ppg.

  • Nicole Gallagher made three triples for the third time in four games against the Retrievers. Gallagher is shooting a career-best 40% from deep.
  • Mariona Planes Fortuny logged her eighth 20+ performance of the season on Saturday. She is currently leading seven offensive categories in the conference.
