Little East Conference recently issued the following announcement.

The Eastern Connecticut State University baseball team is now in the top-three of both national baseball polls this week. The Warriors continue to hold the No. 2 spot in the D3baseball.com Poll, and moved up one spot to No. 3 in this week’s Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Division III Poll.
Eastern entered the week with an overall record of 32-3 after going 5-0 last week. It opened the week with an 11-0 conference victory over Western Connecticut before topping Lasell, 22-2, and sweeping a three-game series against Roger Williams by scores of 7-4, 5-2 and 4-2. The Hawks ranked No. 29 by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and are reviving votes in the D3baseball.com Poll.
The Warriors opened the final week of the regular season with an 8-6 league victory over Keene State Tuesday, and has a LEC doubleheader on-deck versus UMass Boston Friday to close out the week.
