Two Little East Conference (LEC) men’s basketball programs continue to be among those featured in January 16, 2023 edition of the D3hoops.com Poll.

Keene State College remained at No. 4 in this week’s poll with 550 points after improving to 15-0 (7-0 LEC) for the season following conference victories over Eastern Connecticut State University (70-58) and UMass Boston (78-71). The top-six positions in the poll were unchanged from a week ago.

Western Connecticut State University remains among the teams receiving votes in the poll after going 3-0 in league play last week, improving to 13-1 overall and 5-1 in the LEC following the prior week’s overtime loss to the Owls. The Wolves opened the week with a narrow 85-81 win over UMass Dartmouth before cruising to league victories over Rhode Island College (91-55) and the University of Southern Maine (77-62).

Keene State opens this week’s action Monday night with a non-conference bout with No. 11 Middlebury College, before battling Castleton University and Southern Maine in LEC play. WestConn will take on conference rivals Eastern Connecticut and Plymouth State University this week.
