Player of the Week
 
Jeff Hunter (Hudson, Mass.) – Senior – Forward – Keene State
Hunter repeated as the LEC Player of the Week after averaging 23.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, five blocks, and three steals per game in a 2-0 week for the Owls, while shooting an impressive 88 percent (21-of-24) from the field. He opened the week scoring 20 points with 11 boards, seven blocks, four steals and three assists in a 113-75 blowout victory over Springfield College, which saw him go 8-for-10 from the field and 4-for-6 at the line. Hunter then went off for 27 points on a near-perfect 13-for-14 performance from the floor while pulling down 10 rebounds and blocking three shots in a 102-90 triumph over Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
 
Rookie of the Week
 
Xavier McKenzie (Lowell, Mass.) – Freshman – Guard – UMass Boston
McKenzie was named the LEC Rookie of the Week after he averaged 15 points and six rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Beacons. He went off for 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the floor and a 6-for-6 performance at the charity stripe in an 81-59 rout of Lesley University. The freshman guard also tallied seven rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots in the triumph over the Lynx.
