Little East Conference recently issued the following announcement.

Joe Nutting (Amherst, N.H.) Senior – Attack – Keene State
Nutting was named the LEC Offensive Player of the Week after racking up two goals and a program-record eight assists in the Owls’ 16-2 conference victory over Eastern Connecticut Saturday, which was Keene State’s lone game of the week.
Defensive Player of the Week
Shane Molloy (Guilford, Conn.) – Senior – Defense – Keene State
Molloy was named the LEC Defensive Player of the Week after causing two turnovers and scooping up three ground balls while leading a defense that limited the Warriors to just two goals Saturday.
Goalie of the Week
Chase Chamberlin, Keene State
Chamberlin was named the LEC Goalie of the Week after stopping seven of the nine shots on goal he faced over the first three quarters of Keene State’s conference victory over Eastern Connecticut Saturday.
Rookie of the Week
Julian Duque (Mastic, N.Y.) – Freshman – Attack – Western Connecticut
Duque was named the LEC Rookie of the Week after racking up 13 goals in a 2-0 week for WestConn. He opened the week an eight-goal performance in a 20-3 non-conference win over Saint Joseph (Conn.) before finding the back of the net five times (on six shots) in WestConn’s 16-7 LEC victory over Plymouth State Saturday.
This week’s Men’s Lacrosse Athletes of the Week are Keene State’s Chase Chamberlin, Shane Molloy and Joe Nutting, and Western Connecticut’s Julian Duque.
