Little East Conference recently issued the following announcement.

Field Athlete of the Week / Rookie Field Athlete of the Week
Collin Wiltshire (Ledyard, Conn.) – Eastern Connecticut
Wiltshire swept this week’s field athlete awards after placing second in the triple jump with a leap of 14.68 meters at the New England Division III Championships, which ranks him 11th in NCAA Division III this season.
Track Athlete of the Week / Rookie Track Athlete of the Week
David Bennett (Newton, Mass.) – Freshman – UMass Dartmouth
Bennett swept this week’s track awards after winning the 200 (21.72) and placing third in the 400 (47.85) at the New England Division III Championships. His time in the 400 ranks 13th in Division III this season.
Relay of the Week
Eastern Connecticut 4×800
The Warriors’ team of senior Ryan Escoda, sophomore Thomas Stone and freshmen Liam Stafford and Noah Linton placed seventh overall in a field of 14 teams with a time of 8:15.60, becoming only the second men’s 4×800 to earn All-New England honors following the 2017 team.
