Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday rubbish schedule

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – The city of East Providence Dept. of Public Works has announced that due to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday there will be no rubbish or recycling collection on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023. Monday’s rubbish and recycling will be collected on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023 and rubbish and recycling collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day.

Residents are asked to have rubbish and recycling containers at the curb by 6 a.m. for collection.
