Providence College Announces School Of Business Renewed Partnership With Barron’s

Univ

Providence College recently issued the following announcement.

Providence College (PC) announced today that Providence College School of Business (PCSB) and the Barron’s in Education program from Dow Jones have renewed their partnership. This program provides PCSB students, faculty, and staff with complimentary digital subscriptions to Barron’s online content, additional classroom tools, and exclusive experiential learning opportunities. These resources will enrich students’ research and connect them with emerging trends and current events in the financial markets. This partnership is made possible through the generosity of Kathy Entwistle ’87 and Kevin Entwistle ’15 and Morgan Stanley.

“We are so thankful to our alumni, Kathy Entwistle ’87 and Kevin Entwistle ’15, and to Morgan Stanley for continuing to make this resource available to our students,” commented Dr. Sylvia Maxfield, Dean of the Providence College School of Business. “Their gift encourages even more integration of real-world business challenges and deeper research in our classrooms, provides timely business data, and offers insight on market trends.  The Barron’s in Education program has proven to be a valuable tool as we develop versatile, collaborative, and financially strategic leaders for the businesses of tomorrow and I am pleased we can continue to provide it to our community.”

“Barron’s is dedicated to elevating financial proficiency for tomorrow’s business leaders and are

delighted to partner with the Providence College School of Business on this mission. We are

also thrilled and thankful to be teaming with Kathy and Kevin and their alma mater,” Joe Lanza, Director of Financial Education at Barron’s Group, said.

ABOUT THE PROVIDENCE COLLEGE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

We’re shaping a different kind of business education at the Providence College School of Business (PCSB). As the only U.S. college founded and administered by Dominican friars, we understand the need for meaning, connection, and purpose in business and life. The future of business requires people with the skills to find common ground, thoughtfully analyze options, and contribute ethically to solutions together. We teach the power of “we” rather than “me.” With a dynamic group of energized faculty and a rigorous curriculum, we’re building the business school of the future. Students don’t just learn the foundations of business — they learn a versatile, collaborative, problem-solving approach that makes them indispensable to employers and personally fulfilled.
