Bryant University Athletics recently issued the following announcement.
EMMITTSBURG, MD- The Bryant track and field teams brought home eight medals at the Northeast Conference Outdoor Championships this weekend at Mount St. Mary's. Lois Warden and Emma Garrity won golds to headline the weekend for the Bulldogs. The women finished in fifth place overall while the men came home in seventh.
Garrity crossed the line first in the 400 meters, nearly a full second ahead of the runner-up, while Warden defeated Merrimack's Skylar Bomba in a tiebreaker to win the pole vault at 3.50 meters.

Bulldog Notes and Notables (Women)
- Garrity won the 400 with a time of 55.65 seconds. The win was her first in NEC Outdoor Championship competition and second overall, after winning gold in the 500 meters at this year's NEC Indoor.
- Warden has now won NEC gold in the pole vault at both the indoor and outdoor championships this season. She holds the Bryant program record in both events as well.
- Anna Orticerio won the Bulldogs' lone silver medal, finishing second in the hammer throw with a distance of 48.90 meters. Her throw puts her second on Bryant's all-time list.
- Kasey Thomas won the Bulldogs' first medal on Saturday, earning bronze in the shot put. She finished with a distance of 12.17 meters.
- Abby Hamilton placed third in the 10,000 meters with a time of 39:15.25.
- The women's 4x400 relay team of Emma Garrity, Nicole Xiarhos, Ana Bertarelli, and Savannah Pineda won bronze with a time of 3:54.46. Garrity became the lone Bulldog to win multiple medals at the meet.
- The men's 4x800 relay team of Aidan and Nolan Hickey, Jordan Dagrin, and Jason Dolan won bronze, crossing the line at 7:49.55, the second straight year the foursome won bronze at NEC's.
- Nick Alessandro won bronze in the javelin with a throw of 58.34 meters, his second career NEC medal.
- William Remkiewicz placed fourth in the 400 meters with a time of 48.45, missing out on the podium by .02 seconds.
- Nicholas Brancato set a new Bryant record en route to a fifth place finish in the 3000 meter steeplechase. He finished with a time of 9:33.16.
- Dolan, Hickey, and Alex Petruso finished fifth, sixth, and seventh in the 800 meters, with Dolan leading the way at 1:54.70.
- Brett Cloutier and John Bruder came fourth and fifth in the shot put. Cloutier threw for a distance of 15.50 meters to finish one spot off the podium.
