Bryant University Athletics recently issued the following announcement.
The No. 16 University of Connecticut rode a three-run first inning to a 9-2 victory over the Bryant University baseball team on Tuesday afternoon at Conaty Park.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 25-24 on the year. Bryant will close out the regular season with a three-game series with Wagner at Conaty Park. The series begins Thursday afternoon with a 3:00 p.m. first pitch.
Matt Woods, Jake Gustin John Tuccillo and Carmine Petosa picked up the hits for the Bulldogs. Alex Lane and Derek Smith drove in the two runs.
