Offensive Player of the Week Molly Bellmore (Hebron, Conn.) – Forward – Freshman - Plymouth State
Bellmore was named the LEC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring three goals and setting up two others as the Panthers opened the 2022 season with back-to-back wins. She had a hand in all three scores as PSU topped New England College in Thursday’s opener. Bellmore gave the Panthers a 1-0 lead with her first career goal in the 13th minute. After NEC tied the game early in the second half, she set up the game-winner before adding an insurance goal with a breakaway shot to the upper left corner to give the Panthers a 3-1 win. Bellmore then added a goal and an assist in Saturday’s home-opening 6-0 win over Maine-Farmington. Defensive Player of the Week Cara Easter (Weare, N.H.) – Midfield – Graduate Student - Plymouth State
Easter was named the LEC Defensive Player of the Week after tallying a goal and an assist as a defensive midfielder, while helping the Panthers limit opponents to just a single goal in a 2-0-0 week. Easter set up Bellmore’s first marker in the 3-1 win over NEC, which was held to just four shots in the match. Maine-Farmington was limited to just three shots in the match while Easter picked up her first goal of the season when she settled a throw in on the left side, then blasted a shot from 25 yards out that snuck past the goalkeeper inside the left post in the 63rd minute. Goalkeeper of the Week / Rookie of the Week Riley Andriski (Newmarket, N.H.) – Freshman - Keene State
Andriski was named the LEC Goalkeeper of the Week and Rookie of the Week after totaling 14 saves in her collegiate debut, which saw the Owls battle Bridgewater State to a scoreless draw Thursday. She totaled 12 stops in the second half, which saw the Bears outshoot Keene State 15-3 over the final 45 minutes of action.
