With $360,266 in issued loans, Rhode Island ranked 15th for the average amount of a VA home loan in 2022, according to figures provided by the Veteran Affairs Home Loans Index.
The average VA home loan amount in Rhode Island during the third quarter of the fiscal year 2023 was $412,521, a 1.3% increase over the previous quarter, according to the Veterans Affairs Home Loans Index.
Of the 1,091,949 citizens living in Rhode Island in 2021, 80.5% were old enough to vote, equating to 879,286 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.
