EDA awards $737,379 in grants for economic development projects in Rhode Island in 2023

In 2023, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued four grants totaling $737,379 to fund economic development projects in Rhode Island.

This represents a 96.9% decrease from 2022, when the state received $23,979,097 in funding.

Rhode Island ranked 49th across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2023. South Carolina topped the list with $30,038,466 in funding across 14 grants.

Town of Narragansett received the largest EDA grant for funding an economic development project in the state, totalling $339,456.
